8 ways to mismatch in style

If you feel like floral dresses and high heels sometimes then you feel like ripped jeans and combat boots other time, this post is for you. All about how to translate your schizophrenic beautiful self into your style.

Nails

Mix your hardcore nail colors like black and blue with your feminine outfits, and mix your girlie colors with your casual boyish outfits. You just can't look not girlie with pink or french manicure.

Lips
Just like your nails, your hardcore dark colors are toughen up girlie pieces and your girlie or sultry colors are a great way to mismatch with your casual pieces.

Accessories
Accessorize in the opposite direction of your outfit and you've got yourself an interesting look, it can be something simple like a dainty necklace on a t-shirt or something crazy like a studded belt on an evening gown.
Shoes
This is my favorite way because you can look so stunning in a dress and still be comfortable in a pair of converse or you can wear a lounging outfit and look stylish with a pair of heels.

Fabrics
Wearing feminine pieces in a harsh fabric like a denim bustier or a leather skirt gives your outfit kind of a bad ass chic accent, while wearing a jogger pants in silk or a chiffon sweater elevates a casual piece. Wear Cashmere with leather and denim with chiffon to get the best of both worlds.
Prints
Like fabrics wearing a sexy dress in the tartan print or your leather jacket quilted just brings the best of both worlds. I think wearing prints on prints is tricky and just needs a whole new post.
 Cuts
When I think of stripped skirt I think of a skater skort I used to wear when I was in primary, a nice twist on it would be wearing it in a pencil skirt form. Also your typical blazer or skinny jeans are totally different in boyfriend cut.
Pieces
That's kind of the dah! way to mismatch, it's very unexpected to wear mom jeans on a perfect little cropped top feminine top or wear a slouchy sweater and floral pencil skirt.

Have Fun mismatching in style xx
