Fashion Icons Before and Afters

Ever looked at your style role models and felt, "Oh my god, they are so gorgeous; why don't I look like them?". Well, I have done that when I was young. Growing up in the real world, I learned that money and fame can turn around anybody's look. Some people ace it and some people go too crazy. I am not really big on the whole oh my god they were so ugly, I am interested on how these style icons looked when they were just young dreamers like all of us. So this post is pictures packed, gossip packed and fun packed.

Anna Wintour 

The editor in Chief of vogue who have always been a style icon. Before Anna became a channel addict, she rocked the 70's high necks. The iconic bangs never changed, however her layered long bob became a short bob with lighter color. Anna is aging gracefully cause who needs plastic surgery with all that confidence. 

Gorgio Armani 

Before the obvious fried over tan, Armani was a young hot stud. His passion for dressing himself -and everybody else- in classic suits and white shirts never went away. With a reseeding hair line and few good old wrinkles, I can say that he sort of aged gracefully. 

Gisele bundchen

Hands down, she has been on the cover of vogue more than anybody I have seen. The Brazilian Model who allegedly ended the "Heroin Chic"era, is growing up to be more fab every year. Before her blond extensions era, she had a regular girl look with clear skin and brown perfect hair 

Vivienne West-wood 

She is 72 and she is still as crazy as ever. Not so long gone, the days where she had her punk on. While having the perfect spiky locks with political tops was her thing when she was younger, she didn't look like the average designer back in the day. She didn't give up on dark lipstick and the faded eyeliner.

Kate Moss

Before inventing heroin chic, she was just a regular sweet kid. The same skinny self with better teeth and I can spell N O S E J O B.  I liked the darker fuller hair look on her, but when you are out sniffing heroin that's not the look that you would go for. 

Tom Ford

He never lost the good look or the style, his hair line though is much missed. Tom looked like the kid next door with easy face features and a hair to die for. Growing up his eyes got more interesting, I am a fan of the beard look on Tom as well. 

 Heidi Klum

I can't say that Heidi is a cheater, look at her she looks the same. The former Victoria's Secret Angel is still glowing at 40, however her style did change. While she rocked natural curls and orange lip stick, she now knows how to work the red carpet like no other. 

Karl Legerfeld

Who needs a style change when their first choice was timeless, classic and perfect. The strips shirt with suits or trench coats are his best friends. Karl has been in the fashion scene forever, he have seen it all under his glasses. I don't really understand why his lips are looking like this now, however good job hair transplant. 

Marc Jacobs

Oh my god, that's a legendary transformation right there. Marc used to look like a lazy school teacher who doesn't care what people think of what he wears. His hear and glasses really did complete the look he was going for, and the clothing fit was just blind. Thank god Marc grew up to be fabulous.

 Tyra Banks

I am not a fan, seriously I used to change the channel whenever her "talk show" come on. No matter what we can do the America's next top model host is a fashion icon. Being the first black model to go on sports illustrated and all, The nose job helped Tayra a lot , I wonder where did the youthful smile go.

Valentino Garavani 

The Italian designer had the same polished sense of style. He dressed himself in fine suits and took care of the details. Catchy pocket squares and bracelets have always been his thing. I envy his young hair, while the hair line didn't move "naturally", his hair thickness have aged. What is it with the Orange tan?

Micheal Kors

Before having bags of his designs sell like hot cakes, Micheal was just a young kid. Curly dirty blond locks were just amazing and hello uni brow alert. The same fabulous sporty style and the beat thing Micheal have always been wearing is his smile. He did age very well, he almost lost all of his brow in the process. 

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

We all knew them as the sweet little Michelle Tanner from Full house. Now that they are 27 and owners of their own fashion empire, you won't find any style site not worshiping their street style. Known for pale skin, loose closings and boho clothing. They grew up not dis pointing their fans unlike many other child stars. 

Donatella Versace

Whatever good genes in the Versace family, Donatella's share was very small. Her Blond locks are the one thing that lived to tell the story of the woman who missed up her face with surgeries. She' fabulous, however if I have that amount of money I would either work the not so pretty look or get a skillful plastic surgeon.
