Ombre (dip dye)

Ombre (The dip dye effect)
Ombre is basically the dip dye effect. Right now Ombre is a hot trend, this summer we’ll see lots of ombre and we better be ready to show off some ombre style. From hair to iPhone cases here how to get the ombre effect:
Ombre Hair: it’s what started it all, long or short hair ombre is just a cute way to add edge to your daily look. The color possibility is endless; the most popular is the brunette going blond, Brunette or blond gone red head is more edgy, yet not sure if appropriate for all occasions. You can simply get the look by dipping the edges of your hair in the dye (hence the name dip dye) covering them in foil till they dry and then voila. L’Oreal also created a special dye for ombre hair, with strong highlighting effect and a special brush that gives the dipping effect without the messiness.  L’Oreal offers different options for different hair colors and lengths. If you’re into a more professional look and a good color transfer just go to the salon.
Ombre clothes: Shorts, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, skirts and even scarves. You can just shop for them or you can do it yourself. The ombre effect is trendy and easy to be done. You can transfer any old piece of clothes to a totally new one just by getting some clothes paint, put it in a big bowl and dip whatever you want in it; you can decide the color and the length of the dip dye. Leave it to dry as long as you can then start wearing it. You can also simply spray the edges of your piece of clothes with a different color and let it dry till you can wear it. Make sure the color you choose doesn’t look too fake; you can’t choose bright red on light denim shorts, and it will look like you were swimming in blood. *Fashion Tip* don’t wear more than one ombre piece in your outfit; you can easily go from bohemian chic to hobo walking down the street.
Ombre gadget accessories: Your ipad, iphone, note, tab, etc… can get a hint of the trend. If you go to any gadget shop you can find the trend on cases and covers. You can also put some paint in a bowl and dip a cheap cover or case in the bowl; you will get a new one that easy. *Fashion tip* pastel colors and white are the safest to do this, if you want it to look a little bit more professional and less smudgy.
Ombre nails: There are some removable nails in the market that already have the ombre effect, it can be installed and removed easily. If you’re not up to go to the salon and just want a fast fix at home, there are 2 styles of ombre nails that can be done. Either you paint each nail a color a shade darker or lighter than the one before it, ending up having your whole hand nails look like the color faded. Or you can just paint your nails a certain color (preferred a light color), wait till your nails dry completely. Start mixing a darker shade with the color you applied to your hands and press the mixture on a sponge (any make-up sponge will do); press the painted sponge on your nails then wait till it dry.  *Fashion tip* Ombre is enough to get funky nails, adding any charms or rhinestones will be very mismatching.
Ombre Lips: Be careful, this look can be great for clubbing or a night out with friends depending on how much fashion risk you take; this is not for meeting his parents or going to work. The look can be achieved by putting a different shade on each lip, maybe two shades of the same color or two totally different colors. You can also apply two different shades on both lips, giving it fading effect.
