June 2014 Favorites

Yes! I am going to have monthly favorites from now on. Since we established that I suck at Hauls, Sharing the things I love every month will be a great way to recommend various things.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation

I am late to the party, but I finally got this amazing foundation. I had to attend two weddings and a birthday party this month and this one has amazing staying power. The coverage is really nice and it doesn't make me oily at all. I got it for 155 EGP and my color is W3 Golden Beige and it's the perfect match.

Flormar Quartz Plus nail polish

I have always tried the flormar makeup and I have special love for their nail polishes. This month I have been rocking this burgundy color on my toes mostly and my nails, also this milk color is really nice. I would use one layer for french nails and 3 layers if I am going for all milk nails. I got them for 25 EGP each.

H&M brushes

I did my friend's sister makeup for her wedding at the begging of the month so I had to wash my tools, and I have to say the H&M brushes get better and fluffier with washing.  This foundation brush is amazing with my L'Oreal true match I actually get complements on how natural it looks, it was for 64 EGP. The angled brush is better than the Catrice one and the ELF one, I got it for 59 EGP.

Axe Anarchy for her

I love my Nivea anti perspirant but the other day my brother pushed me to get this one. I love the packaging because it's a balance between touch and feminine. It smells phenomenal and it has great staying power,  yeah also I got it for 20 EGP.

L'Oreal Hydra Total 5 Purifying gel wash

I am obliviously going to the in detail review, but I love it. It cleans like squiky clean and it doesn't dry out my face. It was for 47 EGP.

Spa sister sugar foot butter

It's summer and my boots are sleeping in the closet right now so I have to create protection for my feet. This butter smells amazing like a mix of sugar and peanut butter, and it goes great on my elbows. I am not sure how much is it because I got it in a giveaway.

Fresh Look Colored lenses

I fall off the colored contact lenses wagen after 5 years of resisting.  I think it's great for a no makeup makeup day where I wanna look especial. The color is dark green and it's not only the color, I feel like it makes my eyes look bigger and more awake. I got this one which is used for one month only for 35 EGP as a trial because I didn't want to commit to the year long one, but I think I am gonna buy it.

Daria Rice

It's so freaking random but I have been into fitness for the last 2 months and I lost 10.5 kilos so far. I know it doesn't look that sexy but it makes you look sexy. It's so yummy, it smells like brown bakery and it's very filling. This is a kilo and it was 34 EGP and I think it's going to last me a lot because I only use 50 grams per day and I don't use it every day.

Current Favorite Style Bloggers

I did my Favorite youtube gurus post earlier this year, because I am bloody addicted to YouTube. I am a fashion blogger and enthusiast in general so I love me some hard core fashion blogging , you know just skimming through very inspiring outfits and photography. So I have current favorites that I am always checking.

Sammi 

Sammi has many roots I think mainly Caribbean and English, she also has a YouTube channel. Her style is mostly monochromatic but she bursts into colors from now and then, she is such an inspiration. Sammi wears all high street brands and always looks good, beautycrush.co.uk is her blog.

Yanin

She is this English girl with Asian roots who happens to have a great edgy style. If you check out the archive of her blog you can see how much she has grown her style. She has a very tiny frame which is far away from me, but she is really inspiring. Yanin wears a lot of  high street items mixed with dupes to high end. idressmyselff.blogspot.co.uk is her blog. 

Tanesha

American plus size blogger who has timeless style, she knows how to dress her curves. I personally take a lot of inspirations from her outfits and because she wears a lot of high street, I think her style is accessible to everybody. Her lovely blog is girlwithcurves.com

Ashley

Ashley is from the UK and is living the US, I think she is a model but I am not sure. Her style is very versatile, you can't put her in a box and she is the queen of mismatching. The Emarati girl who dresses to kill. She leads an amazing life because of her blog, her outfits are impeccable and she is not afraid of pulling off any style. He created his blog to show off the street style of Tehran streets. The Iranian Araz Fazaeli is the Editor in Chief of the amazing blog showing off bits and pieces of Iranian youth wearing the chicest outfits mixing between high end and high street. An american blogger who does fashion and lifestyle blogging like it should be. Her outfits are amazing and her love for travel and details is inspiring.  She is a half Lebanese plus size fashion model and blogger who has a daring sense of style. She is not afraid to show skin with sheer fabrics and she wears everything with comfort. Weekly Shower Routine

People think I am dead in the shower, but I like to stay long in there because I consider it my beautifying time. I don't do this everyday or in the gym, this is my weekly 45 minutes shower. Here is how to get the most of it:

Start with dry brushing your body upwards towards your heart. It's a great way to get your blood circulation active and I will right a post about it's ingrown hair and cellulite benefits.

After you get the whole body and hair soaking wet, Start shampooing. Click here to see my favorite shampoo. After washing the hair well,  use your favorite hair conditioner and turn off the water.

Lather up the Loofah with a shower gel and  make sure you rub it over all your body. Then  use the shower head to wash off the lather without washing hair.

Turn off the water again, and get a pumice to gently scrub the elbows, knees and heels. Then use a scrub to scrub all over the body, especially any areas where there is any ingrown hairs. I use St Ives or any home made scrub. If you are a shaving girl, this moment is perfect to shave your legs with some hair conditioner whiling rinsing your hair.

Dry yourself and after rubbing a small lemon on the elbows, make sure to apply lotion on your body and focus on the knees, elbows and heels. I use Vaseline Lotion.

 Use Shabah powder on the underarms area, I personally never let deodorant touch that area in order to keep it fair and infection free.

Where to apply Fragrance?

Coco Chanel once said "A Woman should wear perfume wherever she wants to be Kissed" .. well even If you don't want to be kissed, you should always smell good. Today I am going to tell you where should you apply your fragrance to last long and smell good all over.

The Rule of Thumb is to apply on the heat producing area of the body and to place the bottle 15 to 20 CM away from your body when spraying it.

 Start with a spray behind each ear, it's such a lovely little surprise when you are kissing someone on the check and you smell their nice fragrance.

Just one or two sprays max on your hair, don't forget that the perfume has Alcohol that can ruin your hair.

Spray it on your neck and chest area, it's very important to get the sides and back of the neck also your cleavage. 

A lot of energy comes within your core area, that's your waist and back, make sure you apply one spray on each side and one of your back.

Your pulse point AKA your wrists are very important, I usually use a roller fragrance in that area because I feel it stays more that way.

You may not notice, but there is a lot of fraction happening on the back of your knees. A spray on each back of knee will show especially if you are wearing something short.

Heat and thighs, need I say more? Just make sure you have one spray on each thigh.

 Apply a couple of sprays all over your clothes after you get dressed. I apply under my arms with my clothes on, because other than that my skin would get dark when exposed to Alcohol.
